Kid's Day Out
The Kid’s Day Out Program at St. John’s offers an opportunity for young children to enjoy a special time with other children. In a loving, gentle environment, they can play, create, enjoy music, stories, lunch and nap.
Parents may choose one day per week for the Bunny Room & one or two days per week for the Friends Room.
Kid's Day Out Programs
Bunny Room (4 children/1 Teacher)
16-22 months by 8/1- (2 by April 1)
Choose one day per week:
- Monday 9:00-2:30 $120 per Month
- Wednesday 9:00-2:30 $120 per Month
- Friday 9:00-2:30 $120 per Month
Friends Room (8 children/2 Teachers)
23-33 months by August 1st
Choose one or two days per week:
- Monday 9:00-12:30 $89 per Month OR
9:00-2:30 $120 per Month - Wednesday 9:00-12:30 $89 per Month OR
9:00-2:30 $120 per Month - Friday 9:00-12:30 $89 per Month OR
9:00-2:30 $120 per Month
** $178 or $240 for 2 Days per week
A $75 non-refundable registration fee per child is due at the time of enrollment. This fee is waived for SJUCC members.
Staff
- Lead Teachers have degree in education or related field
- Certified in Pediatric CPR
- Dedicated to Ongoing Education
- Maintains the high standards set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
Preschool Program
Programs for children who are 2½, 3 & 4 years of age by 8/1 are offered.
Summer Camp
Programs for children who are enrolled in Preschool & Friends Kids Day Out.
Parent/Child Visit Day
Parent and child visit the classroom and meet the teachers before the school year begins.
Sign In
Parents escort their child to the classroom and provide phone numbers where they can be reached. Parents pick up child in the classroom.
Attendance
Your space in the KDO Program is reserved for you each week, and payment is expected on the first KDO session of the month.
KDO Policies
Abcences
When you know that your child will miss a session, please notify us as early as possible. If we can fill the slot, you will receive a credit voucher to be applied to your next month’s payment.
Sub List
Absences that occur in our KDO classes can be filled by the children who are enrolled on alternate days.
Sick Children
In order to participate in the Kid’s Day Out Program, children must be in good health. Children who have been sick should not return until they have been fever-free and symptom-free for 24 hours.
Health Policy
Each child is required to have a physical examination upon entrance to school and to meet Missouri’s immunization requirements.
